Solórzano Law Firm and its founder, attorney Jonathan Solórzano, will sponsor the Los Abogados Gala 2026, the event with which the Arizona Hispanic Bar Association will commemorate its 50th anniversary on Saturday, October 17, at the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix, under the theme “Heirs of the Dream: A 50-Year Journey,” according to the organizing committee.

The gala will honor four distinguished figures and bring together the state’s legal community to raise funds for scholarships, mentorship, and development programs for future lawyers.

The firm, with offices at 1052 E Indian School Rd in Phoenix, specializes in personal injury and maintains a 4.98 rating on Google reviews, according to its public profile their web page is solorzanolawfirm.com.

Its sponsorship adds to that of other firms that support Los Abogados annually, an organization founded in 1976 by a group of visionary Latino lawyers seeking to promote education, diversity, and legal advocacy within the profession and in the Arizona community.

This year’s honorees are Professor Davíd López, who will receive the Daniel R. Ortega Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award; Alejandra Curiel-Molina, recognized with the Emerging Leader Award; Judge Jessica Sánchez, distinguished with the Exemplary Service Award; and former state senator Peter Ríos, who will receive the Community Service Award, according to the list released by the organizing committee.

The recognitions seek to highlight outstanding contributions in Arizona’s legal and community spheres.

“The sponsorship of our gala would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, whose commitment ensures that Los Abogados can continue advancing education, diversity, and advocacy within Arizona’s legal community,” the committee says in a statement.

“Their investment makes it possible to celebrate the achievements of Latino lawyers while also funding mentorship, scholarships, and programs that propel future generations,” the text adds.

Since its founding nearly five decades ago, Los Abogados has developed a wide range of opportunities for its members and the community, including continuing legal education programming, social and family events, mentorship programs, judicial and professional advancement tools, and scholarships for current and aspiring law students.

The organization’s primary purpose is to promote diversity and ensure that access to justice is not determined by language, cultural, or economic barriers.

This year’s gala takes on special meaning by marking half a century of continuous work.

The event will be held in a formal gala format and seeks to bring together judges, lawyers, students, and community leaders from across the state; the funds raised will sustain the scholarship and mentorship programs the organization offers throughout the year.
